The name "responsibility" is not just a buzzword. I think it is something that is a feature of the era we are all gradually entering. This applies to every person living on this planet today, regardless of gender, age, where you live and what you do. It involves many risks, but it can also give chances to achieve many things that were previously impossible to achieve. Most people will get new opportunities that were unimaginable before. I'm not just talking about the technological "gimmicks", which in the end also have a lot to offer. Although responsibility can often still be related to technology. You have to be responsible for your password, for example, and this is becoming clearer and clearer to everyone. If it is the key to your money, it is the key to your freedom, even if you live in a totalitarian country. In addition, we, as a civilization, are gradually raising the standards of our relationships. A few generations ago it was quite normal to use violence against children, for example. The logic of this progress is that even if you are very rich and there are many hungry people around, they can easily become ready for violence. The situation with hunger in our civilization is much better than before, but not yet with violence. Actually, this requires us to be responsible. It's like violence against children — if you've been subjected to it, you're likely to do it. It requires a certain effort of will, you have to say "stop" at some point to stop doing it.
Of course, if you live in a totalitarian country, big money won't save you. You still have to think things through and take responsibility. Otherwise, you will simply go to war, or your children, brothers, and husband will go, if you are a woman. I had to spend half my life in the soviet union, and it was a relatively soft quasi-empire compared to the current one. It was probably too soft, and they cannot remain so, otherwise they will simply fall apart. Just as it happened with the soviets, they will suddenly fall apart, and their rulers are beginning to feel it. That's why they will try to fight. These self-confident cretins do not realize that this will not help them, but will only make things worse. They just panic, they feel with their inner senses that they will soon be finished. Today, russia is already sending everyone to war. It ruthlessly throws them into battle without even training them properly, and they die there in hundreds, many hundreds in one day. To their rulers, they are all slaves, and their lives are worthless, they despise them and themselves. All those who could, and who had enough intelligence and money, have long since fled the russist empire. But some of them are still fighting against the empire on the side of Ukraine. Perhaps these are the people who were ready to take responsibility for their fate. Today everyone has heard about this war, so I hope I don't have to explain it in more detail. All the people of Ukraine want is to somehow influence their fate, and most of them are ready to take responsibility for their decisions.
Personally, I live in Ukraine. While it's not ideal and has it's problems, it's close to a proper democracy. Maybe most people in the world live in something like this. At least you have some choice. In recent decades, things have been gradually getting better, and in some aspects Ukraine is developing even better than very good countries. The propaganda of totalitarian regimes calls democracies various offensive terms, but everyone understands that this is a lie. Good countries have had a long way to go to get where they are, and today they have the best governance, well-developed legislation and structures for its compliance. And the main thing is that all this is more or less in line with the level of modern technology development. Despotic empires were a great solution in their time, although they eventually fell into decline. They did not like any changes. And technology, especially today, is constantly provoking these changes, and the changes will continue to accelerate even more, apparently. It is unlikely that anyone will be able to stop this rapid development of technology. If we are entering this turbulent era, but we are faced with rudeness and injustice on a daily basis, then we will not care about any wonderful technologies, because they will most likely be used against us. I remember this feeling very well from the soviets. In fact, all we need from our states is common rules for everyone and enforcement. This is what people of Ukraine dream of.
Ideally, our modern civilization should have some common principles that everyone recognizes. Technologically, we are almost a single entity, and we all need these common standards. The problem is that, for various reasons, in some places on this planet, something incomprehensible reigns, which replaces standards, but is not standards in itself, but arbitrariness. In fact, people in those places themselves suffer greatly from this. I know what it looks like from the inside. In the Soviet Union, no one was happy, but everyone kept their mouths shut because there were a lot of snitches everywhere. This was disgusting even for the highest elites. Perhaps we all had a kind of learned helplessness or something like that. It really looked like a massive mental disorder. It is actually very strange to me that there are still a very significant number of people on our planet who live like this every day. I think they should really think about it. No one will be ready to help them until they decide that it's time to finally take responsibility for themselves. Tomorrow it may be too late, they will just be sent to war. I don't know if humanity can really destroy itself, maybe it can. I hope, of course, not this time... The pathetic imitation of an empire that russia is, is nothing but a laughingstock compared to the Soviets. For a few years now, they haven't been able to handle a country that is three or four times smaller in population, not to mention territory and natural resources. Yes, wealthy countries are helping us. But now, in the summer of 2025, about 80% of the ammunition used by russia, comes from North Korea. This is several times more than what our Western partners are providing. And it's not out of the question that Kim wouldn't have given it to them if Xi hadn't been supplying new ammunition to his stockpiles. But, in the end, the Soviets no longer exist, and russia is significantly weaker than what the ussr once were, even with all their allies, who would simply "hide under the bench" like a frightened dogs when russia truly needs help. I think all of this could happen right before our eyes...
After all, relatively prosperous countries are also not able to escape various forms of dictatorship absolutely and forever. This requires constant attention from civil society everywhere. Despoties are not always born as despoties. Accordingly, future dictators initially hide behind various political or religious ideas. Then they forget about their ideas, and they become interested only in power, but often they are not even able to admit this to themselves. And they are ready to send their people to any war, believing that this will strengthen their power. Most of them are wrong, because no one tells them the truth about the true state of their economies and armies anymore. Showmanship (“Pokazukha”) is the most "organic" state for them. But before all this becomes apparent, a lot of innocent people may die. Life seems to be actually quite strong. Overly aggressive social formations are most often destroyed, and their remnants face a long rehabilitation before they can be reborn. And, by the way, on the battlefield, russsists die in two to five times larger quantities than Ukrainians. You have a unique chance to take part in historical events that are happening right now. Ukrainian soldiers are fighting this form of evil right now. They are defending not only their future. This is already a global civilization and the destiny of each group of people depends on the destiny of others. In human history, there are many examples of this, but I am not a historian, so I will end here. You, too, have a unique opportunity to contribute to this common cause by making a small donation:

We live in a special time when the risks of military-political clashes across the planet are still growing. In these zones, no one will be able to engage in normal life, trade, art... Therefore, I still decided to create a special section to discuss this topic (on discord): https://discord.gg/ACVbBNqvEy
